1. Bookings

All bookings are subject to host approval for request-type listings. Instant bookings are confirmed immediately upon payment.

2. Payments

All payments are processed securely via M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Tigo Pesa or HaloPesa. Makazi holds payment until 24 hours after check-in.

3. Cancellations

Free cancellation more than 48 hours before check-in. 50% refund between 24 and 48 hours. No refund within 24 hours. Refunds are processed manually within 5 business days.

4. Disputes

Guests must report problems on or immediately after check-in. Makazi will review all disputes within 24 hours and make a final decision on payment release.

5. Host responsibilities

Hosts must ensure their listing is accurately described and available for the booked dates. Hosts receive payment 24 hours after guest check-in.

6. Prohibited conduct

Fraudulent listings, fake bookings, and misuse of the dispute system are strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension.
